Fun closet floor
My front closet was lacking any spice. In fact, it consisted of primed walls and vinyl floor. I decided to remove the vinyl flooring and refresh it a bit using leftover tiles.
After removing the mouldings and vinyl, i sanded the wall a little to make sure I had a smooth surface. I purchased four 12×12 mosaic tiles and used some black porcelin tile that was leftover from my guest bathroom floor.
I played around with the pattern a bit and once I decided, I glued down the tiles allow them sufficient time to dry. In the meantime, I pained the walls the colour of my choice. (I chose a darker colour as it hides scuff marks from shoes..there is always someone that throws their shoes in the closet :))
I added the dark grout and sealed the tile once it was dry. I then added the mouldings and my closet was complete! Love it!
