They were a little bigger than I needed but that is easily remedied. I measured the distance edge to edge of the opening on the island and split it in two. I then added mouldings to the outsides and filled in any gaps with wood filler. Normally I would use white wood filler but I was trying to get rid of what I had in the cupboard.
